I went there with a cough/cold and was examined by Liana Chen. AS I am 70 years old and have seen a few doctors, I was very impressed with her questions and how quickly she grasped my condition. Her explanations were crystal clear and spot on. I was also scolded in a friendly but firm manner to take better care of myself. I left the visit feeling better mentally and very soon physically and am today cured. All the staff was friendly and joking and relaxed. I left there laughing and realized that the visit was fun! I believe they operate their clinic with a perfect mindset!

Over this past summer, I went to Inova Leesburg because I needed a summer camp medical form completed to attend summer camp with my son. I told them it was less then a year since my last physical, so I was not going to set up a physical at this point because insurance would not cover it. I instructed them to use my information from last year's physical for the form. They stated I had to see a doctor to have the form completed. At that appointment I sat with the doctor for a few minutes to confirm that nothing had changed since my last physical. I later received a bill for $25 for form completion (which I expected) plus a $170 charge for a physical! After the visit, I had called the office and billing office many times and left many messages arguing this bill and no one ever called back. The bill was later sent to collections. After all of the years of having my children's physical forms for camp filled out I've never had this happen. Also, when this office was Nova medical Group I also would drop off my physical form to be completed for $25, with no issues. I paid the bill, so as to not affect my credit, but I'm very frustrated and disappointed with this office.

Went there for a few things. 1 bronchitis, and on another occasion. Both times they were great. Excellent in fact. Thorough, nice, listened to my nonsense, and overall smart good medical staff.

If I could leave a review with without a star I would. I had called my Insurance to see whom excepted it to find out they do so I scheduled an appointment 10/17/19. The day of my appointment they told me that their practice had to me listed as my PCP on my card for the type of insurance I had. Okay, I understood why after contacting my insurance later. I told them that it was my first visit and I had told my insurance company I would do so later. After one of the staff came back from speaking with someone they told me if it wasn’t changed and had a reference number (at the time of service)that I couldn’t be seen or I could pay for my visit. I told them that I didn’t want to change that at the moment it was my first visit and I didn’t know the doctor to make them my PCP, I opted in for paying for my visit. I had been sick for about 3 weeks and needed to see if I needed antibiotics. After the same staff member came back from relaying my decision, she told me that I wouldn’t be able to pay for my visit either and didn’t give me a proper reasoning behind why (just realized). I was irritated and left. They denied me service first due to my insurance card but most importantly I couldn’t even pay for my own visit to be seen. That’s where I am disappointed. I have been in the medical field for 5+ years and have yet to see or been treated in such a way. Denied self pay services for what? If you can go to any other physicians practice I would definitely do so.

I’m only rating the Leesburg office and I’ve had much better experiences at the Ashburn office. I give them one star based on several years of experience of long waits, forgetting about me in the waiting area, and missing records. A one star rating of the office is no reflection on the individual providers.
