Money supersedes patient care. I understand that businesses need to collect payment to sustain; but, they are just so rude. Although I consistently sent monthly payments, they sent me a letter to collect the $50 remaining on my account after insurance. The letter was extremely rude and unprofessional. For example, they wrote the phrase "PAST DUE' in all caps and threatened to forward my account to collections. Also, the rest of the wording in the letter was condescending and unprofessional. I will never return to this practice again. I am fine with paying my bill, but this practice showed zero class when trying to collect the debt.
The care was sub-par as well. I'll be finding a new GI doctor.

I am giving 1 stars to the Capitol Anesthesia Group that provides anesthesia services at GANV and 4 stars to the doctors at GANV. Capitol Anesthesia Group is out of network (they do not participate with any insurance) so there is no limit to how much they can bill you. They literally have a monopoly because it is impossible to have a surgical procedure without anesthesia. They also have a very misleading billing procedure, multiple bills, forms asking you to assist them in getting payment( the fine print says that if they choose to get a lawyer, you will be responsible).I went to this office because they were in network and I don't think it is unreasonable to expect that everyone providing services there to also be in network also. Capitol Anesthesia Group LLC has a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
I am updating this review to 3 stars from 1 because to the how GANV reached out to me and with my permission contacted Capitol Anesthesia Group and help resolve the billing issues. The person who contacted and took care of the bill was Ms Antina, thank you.

My initial impression was not very favorable. However sometimes finding a doctor involves some mixing and matching of personalities. Having a doctor sit and explain everything to you without being dismissive should be just as important as the diagnosis. The nurses and other staff seem very nice and professional.

Terrible at following up and getting a callback. It has been over 3 months since documents were submitted and no callback. Unbelievable. Called direct access but no callback whatsoever. Also talked to few people on the phone who were quite rude even when transferring calls. Will be looking for somewhere else to do this procedure. I had so much hope in this place.

I went to GANV for the consultation on my concern. I had to use this practice because I do not have any info about doctors in my area. I talked with a doctor about my concerns for 5mins. I am pretty sure it was less than 5 mins. He just told me to avoid Advil if i am taking it. And, he just listened to what i was talking about. After that, he suggested me the endoscopy. Thats it!! I understand without seeing inside of stomach, you couldn’t tell what is wrong. But! In my point of view, you should have asked some real questions and suggested me some food I have to avoid. At the end, they charged me $200. I am woking at home and adult care agency and we have over few hundred senior clients. I am definitely going to let them know what I felt from GANV when they ask me.
